The new Everbright Center, where the reporter is located, is located in the core start-up area of the Canal Business District, including the financial park, business offices, commercial facilities and transportation hubs. The new Everbright Centre consists of 4 basement floors and 4 apartments above ground, 3 office towers and 110,000 square meters of commercial facilities. Deng Zhijing, Senior Manager of Operations of the New Everbright Center, said that one of the three office buildings has been delivered to the Beijing Branch of the Postal Savings Bank of China, which will provide high-quality financial services to active customers in multiple industries and fields after settling in the sub-center.

According to Deng Zhijing, the new Everbright Center is a TOD project, that is, a transit-oriented development project, and the public transportation in the area is very convenient, in addition to the already opened Metro Line 6, there will also be Pinggu Line and M102 Line in the future. Another highlight in terms of traffic is the ring tunnel. Deng Zhijing introduced that there is a ring tunnel in the south and north of the core start-up area of the entire canal business district, which will connect more than 50 buildings in the area, and each building has an entrance and an exit.

The reporter learned that at present, most of the infrastructure and public service projects in the canal business district have been basically completed, the North Ring Tunnel and the Dongguan Tunnel have been fully opened to traffic, the comprehensive supporting service center has been completed and put into use, and the slow traffic system of the Qianhe Lagoon Bridge has been upgraded and put into use. The 220 thousand volt power station, the gas pressure regulating station and the Yuezhuang 110 thousand volt power station have been completed and have the conditions for use, providing good municipal conditions for industrial projects.

In terms of industry, the development trend of the modern financial service industry chain and headquarters economy in the Canal Business District has taken shape. A number of high-tech enterprises in line with the functional orientation have settled in the area, the Beijing Green Exchange has officially moved into the office, achieving a carbon quota turnover of more than 3 billion yuan, Beijing's first green infrastructure investment fund project with a scale of 10 billion yuan has been launched, the largest wealth management subsidiary of a city commercial bank in China, Beiyin Wealth Management has settled in the office, 25 second- and third-level companies under the Three Gorges Corporation have settled in the office, Ueda Yagi and other internationally renowned foreign-funded enterprises have set up new headquarters in China, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the four major international accounting firms, has also settled in the sub-center. Up to now, there are 20,679 registered enterprises in the Canal Business District, with a registered capital of 465.9 billion yuan. Among them, there are 20,590 domestic-funded enterprises, 89 foreign-funded enterprises, 48 headquarters enterprises and 287 financial enterprises.
