Communiqué of the Seventh Plenary Session of the 11th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China

The 7th Plenary Session of the 11th Committee of the Communist Party of China Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Economic Work Conference of the Autonomous Region was held in Hohhot from December 25 to 26, 2023.

Present at the plenary session were 75 members of the regional party committee and 15 alternate members. The plenary session spoke highly of the work of the Standing Committee of the regional party committee over the past year. It was unanimously agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping's fourth visit to Inner Mongolia this year has brought great political concern and valuable development opportunities to Inner Mongolia. The plenary session pointed out that the overall requirements for the work of the whole region next year are to take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, comprehensively implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions to Inner Mongolia, conscientiously implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, adhere to the general tone of the work of seeking progress while maintaining stability, take party building as the guide, take forging the sense of the Chinese national community as the main line, go all out to do a good job in the two major affairs, unite efforts to break new roads, enter the middle reach, and forge ahead with vigor and courage. We will continue to write a new chapter in Inner Mongolia of Chinese-style modernization. All localities and departments should respond to changes in the situation, innovate work measures, and make overall plans for economic, political, cultural, social, ecological civilization and party building in light of actual conditions, so as to promote the development of various undertakings more effectively.

The plenary session stressed that during his inspection tour in our region in June this year, General Secretary Xi Jinping first proposed that forging a strong sense of the Chinese national community is the main line of all work in ethnic areas, and all levels in the region should regard the implementation of this major thesis as an important political task and integrate the sense of forging the Chinese national community into all daily work. The plenum stressed that next year's economic work should fully implement the main line of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, adhere to the principle of being good and fast if possible, and strive to be promoted and upgraded. Focus on doing a good job in seven tasks. First, we will make every effort to do a good job in project investment, carry out precise investment promotion, accelerate the implementation of projects, and stimulate the vitality of private investment. The plenary session stressed that the key to doing a good job in next year's work lies in cadres, and it fundamentally depends on implementation.
