The Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province investigated the Shanghai Environmental Exchange

On the afternoon of September 5, 2023, Zhao Lechen, member of the Party Group and Chief Engineer of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province, and his entourage went to the Shanghai Environmental Exchange to carry out research and exchanges, and Lu Bingqing, deputy general manager of the Shanghai Environmental Exchange, received Zhao Lechen and his party to accompany him to visit the trading floor. Zhao Lechen listened to the introduction of the relevant work of the Shanghai Environmental Exchange and praised the work results achieved by the Shanghai Environmental Exchange in the construction of the carbon market and the exploration of carbon finance. He said that the Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province actively promotes enterprises in the power generation industry to improve the level of carbon emission data management, implements and promotes the implementation and settlement of the national carbon market in 2021 and 2022, and hopes to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the Shanghai Environmental Exchange, build a work communication and collaboration mechanism, and strive to provide a solid guarantee for the construction and operation of the national carbon market.
