The 2023 video training meeting on the application guidelines for <B>carbon</B> peaking pilot demonstration projects in the industrial sector was successfully held

In order to implement the "Shaanxi Provincial Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in the Industrial Sector", accelerate the R&D and project construction of key low-carbon technologies in the industrial field, and promote the orderly development of key low-carbon technologies and projects in the industrial field, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology issued the "2023 Shaanxi Provincial Industrial Carbon Peak Pilot Demonstration Project Application Guide", and held a video training meeting on the application guidelines for the 2023 industrial carbon peak pilot demonstration project in the form of online video conference on October 30, 2023.

A total of 282 people from the competent departments of industry and information technology of various cities (districts) are responsible for the work related to carbon peaking in the industrial field, and representatives of enterprises and industrial parks who are willing to apply, a total of 282 people participated in the video training.

In the form of online video conference, the training interpreted in detail the application guidelines for carbon peak pilot demonstration projects in the industrial field, and filled in the application materials for the seven pilot demonstration projects of excellent green and low-carbon technologies, low-carbon technological transformation of key industries, industrial low-carbon synergy, comprehensive utilization of resources, industrial green microgrids, "zero carbon or near-zero carbon" factories and "zero carbon or near-zero carbon" industrial parks, and fully communicated in the Q&A session, and answered the questions that enterprises were concerned about one by one.

Representatives of participating enterprises and parks said that they should take the opportunity of carrying out pilot demonstration projects to increase the research and development of green, low-carbon and carbon-reduction technologies, strive to create zero-carbon and near-zero-carbon factories and parks, explore the formation of low-carbon transformation and upgrading paths with industry characteristics, and strive to make positive contributions to the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality in our province.
