The overall air quality ranking has been promoted to the next level. The comprehensive index of ambient air quality in the province ranked 13th in the country, up 3 places year-on-year. Among the 15 key cities, 14 are among the top 100 of 168 cities in the country.
The highlights of soil pollution prevention and control are prominent. 3,568 risk areas have been demarcated, forming a "one map" of soil pollution risk in the province. The safe utilization rate of polluted cultivated land in the province has increased to 94%. Strengthen the prevention of pollution in production enterprises, explore the mode of "production and control", and take the lead in the country to carry out detailed investigation and risk management and control of enterprises exceeding standards.
The high-quality development of services is positive and promising. We have strengthened the application of the results of ecological and environmental zoning control, completed the environmental protection audits of 20 newly identified and 8 expanded chemical parks, completed the environmental impact assessment and approval of 5,440 projects (including 520 radiation categories), took the lead in releasing the top ten provincial action plans for adapting to climate change in the country, and achieved 100% payment and fulfillment of national carbon market quotas, and strive for a 6% year-on-year increase in the special environmental protection fund of the central province.
