Wang Zhengpu pointed out in the report that in the past year, the ecological environment of Hebei Province has been continuously optimized. The appearance of the countryside has improved markedly. Deepen the improvement of the rural living environment, renovate and upgrade 401,200 household toilets, and build 334 new demonstration villages in Hemei Village. Xiong'an New Area has achieved remarkable results in the management and protection of the ecological environment, the water quality of Baiyangdian Lake Area has been stable and maintained Class III., and the species and number of wild birds have increased, reproducing the beautiful picture of clear lake water and gulls and birds.
Wang Zhengpu pointed out in the report that this year, Hebei Province will adhere to ecological priority and green development, adjust and optimize the structure of industry, energy and transportation, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs in promoting comprehensive green transformation. Focus on eight aspects of work, including accelerating the comprehensive green transformation and building a beautiful Hebei with blue sky and green water.
This year, Hebei Province will fight a battle to defend the blue sky, clear water and pure land. Implement the action plan for continuous improvement of air quality, and consolidate and expand the achievements of the "Ten Backwards". Improve the long-term mechanism for the treatment of black and odorous water bodies in urban and rural areas, and the proportion of excellent water quality in the national and provincial test sections of surface water has reached 81%. Carry out actions to prevent and control soil pollution sources and prevent and control agricultural non-point source pollution.
Coordinate the integrated management and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands and sands. Implement major projects for ecosystem protection and restoration, reduce groundwater exploitation by 160 million cubic meters, strive to replenish ecological water by 2 billion cubic meters, and restore 45,000 acres of historical mines. Large-scale land greening has been carried out, and 6 million acres of forests have been planted. Strengthen the conservation of biodiversity such as Hengshui Lake wetlands. Strengthen unified supervision of ecological protection and restoration, and carry out special rectification of illegal mining and encroachment on ecological redlines.

Deepen the environmental performance of enterprises in key industries to achieve A, and improve the "dual control" measures for carbon emissions in the steel industry. Accelerate the construction of a green manufacturing system. Strengthen the clean and efficient use of coal, add 15 million kilowatts of renewable energy capacity, and accelerate the construction of a new energy province.
