Gather in Xi'an Environmental Protection Smart Brain to discuss air pollution control

Recently, representatives from social welfare organizations such as Shaanxi Academy of Social Sciences, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and Airman, as well as CPPCC members, enterprise employees, and media practitioners, walked into Xi'an Science Popularization Demonstration Base - Xi'an Smart Environmental Protection Comprehensive Command Center, and jointly carried out the autumn and winter air pollution prevention and control publicity activities with the theme of "Ecological Xi'an, You and I Build Together".

Under the leadership of the staff of the command center, representatives from various fields visited the publicity and education corner on the theme of ecological environmental protection, and combined with on-site operation demonstrations and explanations, to understand the functions and functions of each system of the smart environmental protection platform. Everyone said that through the visit, they felt the power of science and technology to protect the blue sky, and felt the importance of practicing the "Ten Citizens' Ecological Environment Code of Conduct" and the "Shaanxi Provincial Citizens' Blue Sky Convention" from the daily bits and pieces, and in the whole people participating in the battle against air pollution in autumn and winter. 

After the visit, the delegates combined their work experience and familiar cases in their fields to discuss and exchange views on clean heating in winter and how to promote the prevention and control of air pollution in autumn and winter. Wang Yaqiong, a representative of the Shaanxi Provincial Academy of Social Sciences, said that with clean heating under the "double carbon" goal as the starting point, we will work together to form a joint force to promote the control of air pollution in winter and achieve remarkable results. Zhao Liang, representative of Airman, believes that exploring how to combine traditional buildings with modern low-carbon technologies to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions is an opportunity to respond to climate change in terms of scattered coal management. The staff of the command center also preached to the delegates the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution" and the "Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Air Pollution in Xi'an City" and other laws and regulations. Through the interaction from multiple perspectives, everyone improved their understanding from the aspects of laws, regulations, policies, technologies, and popular science related to air pollution prevention and control.

Finally, the staff of the command center advocated that everyone continue to support and participate in air pollution control from various fields, influence and drive more people around them to practice the "Shaanxi Provincial Citizens' Blue Sky Convention", make green and low-carbon lifestyles a habit, and jointly protect the blue sky and white clouds.
