Ningbo Zhenhai: Create a "dual carbon closed-loop" sample to promote low-carbon capacity building

Recently, Ningbo Homelink Technology Co., Ltd. received a product carbon footprint verification statement issued by an internationally recognized certification body, affirming the social contribution of the company to practicing the concept of "double carbon" and the competitive advantage of its green and low-carbon products.

In recent years, industrial enterprises in Zhenhai District of Ningbo have been the main force in the "dual carbon transformation", planting low-carbon concepts, implementing low-carbon actions, continuously strengthening low-carbon capacity building, and creating a virtuous cycle of low-carbon development system. As one of the leading enterprises in pollution reduction and carbon reduction in Zhenhai District, Homelink Technology has built low-carbon core competitiveness from four directions: intelligent manufacturing, environmental protection materials, lean management, and innovative design, and has effectively created a "double carbon closed-loop" enterprise sample.

Under the guidance of the local ecological environment department, the "dual carbon closed-loop" carbon reduction action of Homelink Technology mainly focuses on the three core measures of "green products, green intelligent manufacturing, and green factories". The first is green management and carbon future planning. Improve the organizational mechanism, set up an ESG management committee and working group, prepare a medium and long-term carbon emission reduction plan, and clarify the time limit for achieving carbon neutrality in the factory's self-operation. Find out the background of emissions, hire experts in the field to carry out carbon emission verification of enterprises, and clarify the total carbon emissions, carbon emission intensity and structure. The second is green production and the implementation of special actions for carbon reduction. Carry out intelligent monitoring, accurately control equipment energy consumption, and reasonably plan energy dispatching, allocation and optimization. Upgrading energy-using equipment, investing in photovoltaic projects, and participating in green certificate trading have reduced carbon emissions by about 49,000 tons. The third is green linkage and coordinated efforts to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. Through the use of degradable raw materials, waste recycling, lightweight packaging products and other means, on the basis of achieving zero emission of waste in the new material workshop, the cumulative reduction of carbon emissions is about 20,000 tons.
