Showcasing the achievements of enterprise innovation and sustainable development!

Suzano, one of the world's largest commercial pulp producers, recently unveiled at the 2023 China International Import Expo (CIIE) with the theme of "Low Carbon Forward, Building a Green Future for China", showcasing bio-based materials introduced to the Chinese market, bio-based solutions promoted with local partners, and sustainable development practices in China to support China's low-carbon progress.

During this period, Suzano signed agreements with a number of partners to further strengthen its partnerships with interested parties.

Suzano signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Hainan International Emissions Trading Center (IFF) for the future trading of carbon credits generated from forest land. The MoU lays the groundwork for the two parties to advance joint action on carbon projects, the integration of carbon credit standards, and the policy-regulated carbon market.

In addition, Suzano has signed a financial strategic services agreement with the Bank of China, demonstrating the depth of the partnership between the two companies.

Suzano, together with its partners Vinda and COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport, has launched a special edition sustainability-themed tissue box featuring environmentally friendly drawings drawn by children in China. The debut of the special edition tissue box also marks the successful conclusion of the children's natural creative painting competition launched in May this year. The drawing competition is the first in the "Environmentally-Child-Friendly" series, which was initiated by relevant Chinese government agencies and supported by Suzano and its business partners Vinda and COSCO SHIPPING Special Transport. Some of the outstanding paintings were exhibited at the Suzano booth, and more works were also displayed online.
