On November 14, the first 100 billion cubic meter gas field in the Bohai Sea, the first 100 billion cubic meter gas field in China, the Bozhong 19-6 gas field Phase I development project, was successfully put into operation, marking a new stage in the development of deep and complex buried hill oil and gas reservoirs in China's offshore sea. It is understood that the new generation of heavy anticorrosive coatings used in the first phase of Bozhong 19-6 gas field was developed by CNOOC Changzhou Coating Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd., which has made a new breakthrough in the localization of independent research and development, breaking the monopoly of foreign companies in the field of high-end heavy anticorrosive coatings.
It is understood that after the Bozhong 19-6 gas field is put into operation, the offshore platform structure will be in a high-salt and high-humidity marine environment for a long time, and the corrosion will be the most serious under the synergistic effect of sunshine, wind and waves and seawater environment. Generally speaking, the steel structure does not add any corrosion protection means to "run naked" in the sea, it will rust in just 1 hour, and it can be corroded, perforated, fractured and collapsed in 1 month.
CNOOC Changzhou Coating Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. Petrochemical Energy Coatings Research Institute has made customized research and development for the anti-corrosion coating of Bozhong 19-6 gas field, through technological innovation, the protection period can reach up to more than 30 years, which is more than 3 times longer than the conventional anti-corrosion coating, and greatly improves the life of anti-corrosion coating for offshore oil industry facilities.
"China's traditional industrial anti-corrosion coatings mainly by increasing the thickness of the coating film to improve the anti-corrosion effect, if the traditional anti-corrosion coating is compared to the steel structure to put on the 'coat', then, we have developed a new generation of heavy anti-corrosion coating is equivalent to the steel structure customized a 'jacket', not only corrosion protection performance can be increased by more than 50%, but also has anti-slip wear resistance, super light aging, anti-fouling, anti-icing and other functions." Lian Bingjie, director of the Institute of Petrochemical Energy Coatings, said.
Zhu Yajun, deputy general manager of CNOOC Changzhou Coating Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd., said that the total anti-corrosion coating area of the first phase of the Bozhong 19-6 gas field has reached 590,000 square meters, which is equivalent to 82 standard football fields. In the next step, CNOOC Changzhou Coating Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd. will continue to innovate marine anti-corrosion technology, especially explore deep-sea high-pressure resistant coating technology to help build a marine power.
