Today, the reporter learned from China General Nuclear Power Group that one of the country's first large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects focusing on the Shagehuang area - China General Nuclear Power Group's Xing'an League 3 million kilowatt wind power project is connected to the grid at full capacity, with an annual power generation of more than 10 billion kilowatt hours, becoming the most continental wind power base in operation in China.
It is reported that CGNPC's Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power base has installed 701 wind turbines in the old revolutionary base area of Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, providing more than 10 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year, reducing standard coal consumption by about 2.96 million tons, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 8.02 million tons, equivalent to afforestation of 22,500 hectares, and contributing more than 5 billion yuan to the tax revenue of Xing'an League in the whole life cycle of the project, which has significant economic and ecological environmental benefits.
Yang Changli, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CGNPC, said that CGNPC's Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power project is an excellent answer sheet for the economic and social development of the Xing'an League's old revolutionary base area and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, based on the cooperation between the central government and the local government, reflecting CGN's determination to continue to play the three roles of scientific and technological innovation, industrial control and safety support, and strive to be the leader of the modern industrial chain and build a world-class enterprise.
According to reports, CGNPC's Xing'an League's 3 million kilowatt wind power project is one of the first batch of Shagehuang wind and photovoltaic base projects in the country, and it is also the largest onshore wind power base built in the first batch of projects. As a Beijing-Mongolia counterpart assistance and cooperation policy project, through the establishment of a wind power equipment manufacturing innovation demonstration industrial park and other means, more than 1,000 local jobs have been solved, and 400 million yuan of tax revenue has been created.
It is worth mentioning that CGN Xing'an League's 300 million wind power project is also the first new energy project in the country to be transmitted and consumed through DC 800kV UHV, equipped with the first 1000MVA (megavolt ampere)/500kV three-phase integrated main transformer in China's new energy industry, which has effectively driven the technological innovation of the upstream of the industrial chain and achieved a number of industry firsts in the field of new energy in China. It is the first onshore wind power project with 500kV voltage level connected to the power system, the first wind power project to receive multi-level dispatching of network regulation and provincial regulation at the same time, the first wind power project to use distributed condenser, and the first intelligent wind farm to use one-key sequential control technology of 500kV substation.
"With the successive commissioning of CGNPC's Xing'anmeng 3 million kilowatt wind power base and other projects, it is expected that by the end of 2023, CGNPC's domestic installed capacity of new energy in operation will reach 45 million kilowatts. Zhang Zhiwu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China General Nuclear Power New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., said that CGN's domestic new energy business fully covers wind power, photovoltaic, solar thermal, pumped storage, energy storage, hydrogen energy and other types, distributed in 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country, and more than 570 new energy projects continue to output green power, actively contributing to the promotion of Chinese-style modernization and the construction of a new power system.
