On the morning of January 23, the Second Session of the 16th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress opened. According to the Shanghai Municipal Government Work Report, Shanghai implemented the top ten actions to peak carbon emissions last year, adding 946,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic installed capacity, promoting 354,000 new energy vehicles, and owning 1.288 million vehicles, ranking first among cities in the world. More than 67,000 acres of forests, 1,044 hectares of green space, 231 kilometers of greenways, and 430,000 square meters of three-dimensional greening have been added.
The report also shows that in 2023, Shanghai's electric vehicle exports will increase by 67%, Shanghai will further promote the construction of a cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone, the pilot business of remanufacturing product imports will be implemented, the number of demonstration enterprises in the international trade distribution center will reach 116, the number of "Authorized Operator" enterprises (AEO) will reach 517, and the Shanghai China-Europe train will run 100 trains throughout the year, and the exports of electric manned vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells will increase by 67%, 63.3% and 13.7% respectively.
