In order to comprehensively reflect China's policy actions and work in the field of climate change, and to demonstrate China's effectiveness in actively responding to climate change at home and abroad, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has compiled the Ministry of Ecology and Environment in accordance with the usual practiceChina's Policies and Actions on Climate Change 2023(hereinafter referred to as the "Annual Report"), which was officially released at the press conference held by our Ministry on October 27, 2023.
The Annual Report introduces China's new progress in addressing climate change since 2022, summarizes China's new deployment and new requirements for addressing climate change, reflects the progress of key areas in controlling greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate change, building carbon markets, policies and supporting guarantees, and actively participating in global governance to address climate change, and expounds China's basic propositions and positions on the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
