Recently, in accordance with the international "PAS 2060-2014 Carbon Neutrality Demonstration Specification", the first station of the West-East Gas Transmission in Tarim Oilfield successfully passed the on-site audit of the authoritative certification body and obtained the "carbon neutral station" certification.
Since 2023, the first station of the West-East Gas Pipeline has continued to promote energy conservation, consumption reduction, emission reduction and clean energy substitution, launched the creation of "carbon neutral stations", formulated assessment indicators and implementation plans for the creation and promotion of "green enterprises", successively implemented 28 measures for the creation and promotion of "green enterprises", and built the first "zero-carbon" station in the Tarim Oilfield.
In September 2023, the first station of the West-East Gas Transmission Project will be completed and put into operation, using the residual pressure to generate "zero-carbon" electricity, with an annual power generation capacity of 5.2 million kWh, neutralizing the carbon emissions in the daily production of the whole station throughout the year, such as device drive, pipeline maintenance, gas transmission and supply, and realizing the "zero-carbon" operation of the station. At the same time, we will vigorously promote energy conservation and emission reduction, implement vented natural gas recovery projects, optimize process technology, and reduce unnecessary energy consumption. In addition, it actively uses the green electricity generated by centralized photovoltaic power generation projects to offset the carbon emissions generated by the escaping devices.
In the future, the first station of the West-East Gas Transmission Project will continue to tap the potential of energy conservation and emission reduction, optimize and improve the operating parameters of differential pressure power generation devices, improve the operation efficiency, expand the scale of clean energy substitution, and further promote clean and "zero-carbon" production in the whole process.
