On September 26, at the on-site observation meeting of the national rural black and odorous water treatment pilot cities held in Nanning, representatives from other provinces praised it. The Nakao River Basin Comprehensive Treatment Project was selected as the first batch of typical cases of sponge city construction by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

In July 2022, PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project was fully launched, starting the transformation from "fuel-based" to "chemical products and organic materials", taking a new step in the green and high-end development of Guangxi's petrochemical industry.

According to the statistics provided by the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region, Guangxi has accelerated the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, implemented the national energy consumption regulation and optimization policy - through the implementation of the three-year action of the "energy grid" to make up for the shortcomings of infrastructure, the investment of 40.171 billion yuan was completed from January to July this year, and since the "14th Five-Year Plan", the cumulative installed capacity of renewable energy in the region has been nearly 10 million kilowatts, accounting for about 74% of the new installed power capacity in the region.
