Recently, the Shuichuan SDIC Water-Solar Integrated Demonstration Power Station was connected to the grid in Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, with a single-day power generation capacity of up to 28,000 kWh. This is Xiaogan's first water-light integrated demonstration power station, with an installed area of 27,000 square meters and a total installed capacity of 4.74 megawatts.

Since the announcement of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Energy Development in Hubei Province", Xiaogan City has moved to accelerate the layout of refueling, gas, hydrogen, charging, battery swapping and other aspects, and actively marched into the field of power generation. The high-standard demonstration power station of water and solar integration was built to achieve a "win-win" situation of resource utilization, water quality improvement and power generation efficiency.

Safe and efficient construction standards. After expert demonstration and comprehensive research and judgment, the project chooses the scheme of "portal steel frame + pile foundation cap beam", which can resist wind pressure once in 50 years and snow pressure once in 100 years. Photovoltaic panels, inverters and other equipment are selected from top domestic brands, no electromagnetic interference, no light pollution.

Ecological benefits of energy saving and consumption reduction. Make full use of the idle space resources in the waterworks area, install photovoltaic modules, add environmentally friendly roofs to the pools, avoid direct sunlight, effectively inhibit the growth of algae in the water, and prevent water pollution such as rain, snow and dust, so as to make the tap water cleaner. The project does not add new land or occupy land, which can save more than 1,600 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon emissions by more than 4,300 tons per year, with a total reduction of 110,000 tons of carbon emissions in 25 years.

Significant economic benefits. The project adopts the power consumption method of "self-generation and self-consumption, surplus electricity grid", and the total power generation during the operation period is about 120 million kWh. In addition, this project reduces the electricity cost of the waterworks by nearly 1 million yuan per year, and can reduce costs and increase efficiency by more than 25 million yuan in total.
