Recently, Beijing issued the "Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the High-quality Development of New Energy Heating" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Opinions"). According to the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, in accordance with the "Implementation Opinions", Beijing supports the application of various new energy heating technologies to public buildings, residential buildings, industrial parks, agriculture and rural areas, and encourages the expansion of the application of new energy heating technologies in new infrastructure and other scenarios. The "Implementation Opinions" proposes that by 2025, Beijing will strive to achieve the proportion of new energy heating area in the city's heating area to reach more than 10%, and by 2030, strive to achieve the proportion of new energy heating area in the city's heating area to reach 15%
Beijing's new energy heating area exceeds 100 million square meters

The "Implementation Opinions" put forward that Beijing will promote the multi-scenario application of new energy heating to achieve the diversified and orderly development of new energy heating. By 2025, we will strive to account for 10% of the city's heating area with new energy heating, and by 2030, we will strive to account for 15% of the city's heating area. According to the "Implementation Opinions" proposed in 2030, the target of 15% of the new energy heating area is calculated, and it is expected that carbon emissions can be reduced by about 3.3 million tons by 2030.

The reporter learned that the "Implementation Opinions" include seven parts: overall requirements, promoting multi-scenario applications, achieving diversified and orderly development, promoting industrial development and growth, comprehensively improving management levels, improving policy support, and safeguard measures.

Support will be given to eligible new energy heating enterprises (projects) to apply for loan interest discounts and preferential interest rate financing. Actively promote the inclusion of new energy heating projects in the national voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction trading market.
In addition, in order to strengthen standardized management, the "Implementation Opinions" make it clear that it is necessary to strengthen the control of key technologies in the design stage, strengthen the quality control of project construction, and improve the professional level of construction and supervision. For new energy heating projects supported by the municipal government's fixed asset investment, professional institutions with corresponding credit are encouraged to manage the whole process of project construction.
