Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the "List of the First Batch of Collaborative Innovation Pilots for Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction in Cities and Industrial Parks", and Sichuan Suining Anju Economic Development Zone was successfully selected, becoming the first national collaborative innovation pilot for pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the province.
Sichuan Province has always regarded the development zone as the main battlefield for the implementation of the six advantageous industries to improve quality and multiply the action, adhere to the construction of beautiful Sichuan as the traction, and promote the pilot of collaborative innovation in pollution reduction and carbon reduction as an important task and starting point for the synergistic action of pollution reduction and carbon reduction. Before the pilot application, promote the inclusion of the Sichuan Suining Anju Economic Development Zone in the pilot construction of the provincial-level near-zero carbon emission park, and actively promote the park to explore the path of coordinated governance of pollution reduction and carbon reduction. In the pilot application stage, actively coordinate and organize the park to do a good job in the application and review.
In recent years, Sichuan Suining Anju Economic Development Zone has thoroughly implemented the new development concept, promoted high-quality development in an all-round way, formed "3+2" leading industries such as lithium battery and new materials, automobile and equipment manufacturing, and natural gas clean energy, built the world's largest lithium iron phosphate cathode material production base, the largest commercial vehicle production base in southwest China, and successfully created a national green park.

In the next step, the Department of Ecology and Environment will guide and promote the overall development and emission reduction, pollution reduction and carbon reduction of the pilot parks, continue to optimize the treatment objectives, treatment processes and technical routes, innovate the collaborative control mode of environmental pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions, explore a long-term mechanism for collaborative management of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in line with the actual situation of the park, promote the improvement of the synergy between pollution prevention and control and greenhouse gas emission control, and help the park achieve green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
