"Johnson Controls has been developing in China for nearly 30 years, and has witnessed from Made in China to Made for China, and then to today's Design in China, China has achieved from following the world's cutting-edge pace to leading the world's development direction. ”

On November 6, during the 6th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Expo), Yang Guang, vice president of Johnson Controls, said in an exclusive interview with Jiemian News.

On November 4, the first large-scale cruise ship "Aida Modu" made in ChinaOfficially named delivery, the third pearl of the shipbuilding industry has been picked by China.

"I was there at the handover ceremony that day, because Johnson Controls provided the HVAC, communications, and fire protection systems for the Aida Mordo. Speaking of this, Yang Guang could not hide his excitement in his words, "I am very grateful that the Chinese market can give Johnson Controls the opportunity to develop locally." ”

This smart building industry giant from the United States has participated in the CIIE for the sixth time. In Yang Guang's view, the CIIE is not only a platform for communication between supply and demand, but also a good opportunity for enterprises to build an ecosystem.

He told Jian News reporter that the CIIE brought together enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the global industrial chain and audiences from all walks of life, resulting in many ideological collisions, which played a certain role in promoting the development of enterprises and provided a good opportunity for the industry to jointly build a business format.

Johnson Controls has been operating in China for many years and has 10 manufacturing plants, 3 R&D centers and 49 offices in China.

At this year's CIIE, Johnson Controls brought three new products for the world premiere, namely YMS maglev inverter centrifugal chiller, YDXM-C direct evaporative air handling unit and C· Cure IQ Security Client. The first two products are 100% developed and produced in China.

According to Yang Guang, Johnson Controls will continue to expand local intelligent manufacturing capabilities in the future. Johnson Controls plans to overcome this problem since last year, and is expected to achieve 100% made in China from design to production of the most popular centrifuge models in the central air conditioning chiller market in the next year."

Up to now, Johnson Controls' HVAC and refrigeration products have achieved 100% local production in China, with more than 96% of local R&D capabilities, and 70% of the products produced in local factories are sold in China and have begun to be supplied to the world.

At the Expo, Johnson Controls also showcased its new energy industry solutions covering the lithium battery and photovoltaic industries, including cold and heat source system solutions, air handling system solutions, high-efficiency computer room overall solutions and smart factory platform solutions.

"New energy industries such as lithium batteries and photovoltaics are the most important driving force for Johnson Controls in China's domestic market." Yang Guang said that Johnson Controls' new energy industry solutions have achieved comprehensive coverage of China's leading lithium battery and photovoltaic enterprises.

In addition, Johnson Controls has been recognized by more than 30 lithium battery new energy customers, and has helped customers achieve the evaluation of more than 10 national green factories.

"Johnson Controls is also involved in the overseas projects of Chinese new energy companies." Yang Guang said.

During this year's CIIE, Johnson Controls and Shanghai Electric Group cooperated to hold a signing ceremony for the co-construction and cooperation of the "Carbon & Digital" joint laboratory. This is another cooperation between the two parties after the "Zero-carbon Industrial Park Implementation Path Planning and Assessment" initiated by the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange and Shanghai Electric, and jointly formulated by Johnson Controls and other partners was officially released at the CIIF in September.
