The "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of a Beautiful China" was released on January 11. The opinions put forward that building a beautiful China is an important goal of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and an important part of realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The opinions require that the "14th Five-Year Plan" will be in-depth to tackle tough problems and achieve continuous improvement of the ecological environment, the "15th Five-Year Plan" will consolidate and expand to achieve comprehensive improvement of the ecological environment, and the "16th Five-Year Plan" will be improved as a whole to achieve a fundamental improvement of the ecological environment.>>> more to read here

8. China has completely eliminated eight types of new pollutants under key control
