The 2023 Beijing Green Life Season was launched

The 2023 Beijing Green Life Season was launched yesterday, with eight major sectors covering food, housing, transportation, travel, and shopping, and will last until the end of October.

　　Zhang Wangcai, director of Beijing Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Center, introduced that the eight major sectors of the green life season are green office, green life, green future, green travel, green CD-ROM, green landscape, green finance, green carbon credits, covering food, housing, transportation, travel, shopping and other fields. Through online and offline activities, we advocate citizens to join in green living and promote the green transformation of lifestyles with actions.

　　Among them, "Green Life" advocates low-carbon actions in daily life such as resource recycling and garbage classification, encourages the recycling of used clothes, idle display transactions, bring your own cups, paperless receipts, express electronic face sheets, and reduces the use of disposable products and plastic products. "Green Future" promotes energy-saving and water-saving products, new energy, smart home and other green products. "Green Landscape" recommends green tourism products and routes to enhance the value of ecological products of tourism resources.

　　According to reports, the 2023 Beijing Green Life Season will launch a joint promotion mechanism for green life, promote the application and practice of Beijing's carbon inclusive mechanism, make the public's green behavior more marketable, and create a green consumption atmosphere through all-round and three-dimensional activities, actively advocate the concept of green development, and encourage citizens to practice green and low-carbon life.
