The sub-center green development forum was opened, and the "green" report card was released
On the morning of November 1, the 2023 Beijing Sub-center Green Development Forum opened at the Urban Green Heart Vitality Hub, and the reporter learned that the background color of the green development of the sub-center continued to be polished - the water quality of the national assessment section of the sub-center has all reached the standard, and the North Canal and the Tide Reduction River have been listed as "Beijing's Beautiful Rivers and Lakes"; a total of 251,000 acres of greening construction have been implemented, with a forest coverage rate of nearly 35%, and an annual carbon dioxide absorption of about 400,000 tons; and all the buildings in the canal business district have reached the green star standard.
In recent years, the sub-center has focused on the six aspects of green building, green transportation, green industry, green energy, green ecology and green culture, highlighted source control and system control, and paid close attention to pollution and carbon reduction in key areas such as construction, energy and transportation, so as to support the high-quality economic and social development of the sub-center with low energy consumption. In 2022, the energy consumption of the sub-center's GDP per 10,000 yuan will decrease by 26% compared with 2015.
The sub-center continued to promote the special action of "sparse rectification and promotion", and the sub-center has relieved a total of 692 general manufacturing enterprises and cleaned up and rectified 1,443 "scattered and polluted" enterprises. By continuously strengthening the guidance of the green financial market and vigorously cultivating the green financial ecology, the sub-center has become the first batch of climate investment and financing pilot areas and forestry carbon sink pilot cities in China, and the city's first green infrastructure investment fund with a scale of 10 billion yuan has been completed. The Beijing Green Exchange has been upgraded to a national green exchange for the world, and the country's first certified financial institution "Green Outlet" has also been unveiled in the sub-center, with a green credit balance of more than 30 billion yuan in the region.
Focusing on greenness, demonstration and sustainability, the sub-center has promoted a large number of green development benchmark construction projects. The sub-central station comprehensive transportation hub project under construction has successfully completed the test well of medium and deep geothermal (underground heat exchange) heat pump heating system for the first time in Beijing, which can provide winter heating for the 1.89 million square meter building of the hub, and can reduce the consumption of standard coal by 8,000 tons per year compared with the traditional coal-fired heating method; After the integrated design and construction of five single buildings of shared supporting facilities and rail transit reserved stations, compared with public buildings without energy-saving and emission reduction measures, the three major buildings can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 10,200 tons per year, becoming a low-cost and replicable green building demonstration of the sub-center.
