Xingtai Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. During the survey, Zhao Weidong found that the carbon monoxide value was high among the main air pollutant emission indicators of Xinggang. In order to further reduce carbon monoxide emissions, he organized the Xingshan Iron and Steel Production Branch to hold gas balance analysis meetings for many times, and determined that the stable operation of the Xingshan Iron and Steel gas system should be maintained through a 75-ton boiler, and the pressure of the gas pipeline network and the gas cabinet should be controlled within a reasonable range, so as to reduce or even eliminate the gas discharge.

Fugitive emissions from coke ovens have always been a problem for Xinggang coking plant. Combined with the actual situation, Zhao Weidong summed up the four-character policy of "slow out and fast loading" for on-site operations, that is, the coking operation slows down the pace and reduces the flue gas generation so that the dust removal facilities can fully collect the flue gas, the coal loading operation is quickly filled, the coal loading port is quickly restored, and the flue gas escape time is reduced, so as to greatly reduce the escape of unorganized flue gas in the coke pushing and coal loading operations.

In the days and nights of Xinggang Steel's factory assistance, Zhao Weidong was full of thoughts about "how to exchange small input for large output", so that enterprises can accept it, and pollution can be reduced.

Zhao Weidong tried every means to guide and help enterprises to improve the technological process, and completed a series of transformation projects such as steam spraying and oxygen-rich ignition on the material surface of the sintering machine, U-shaped water seal for blast furnace gas release, and gas backblowing for the heating furnace of the wire rod factory, which not only reduced pollutant emissions, but also saved costs for the enterprise.

"Through daily inspections, we found that the transportation of vehicles in the enterprise factory area is an important source of non-point source pollution. Zhao Weidong is keenly aware that there is still room for improvement.

In order to solve this problem, on the one hand, Zhao Weidong arranged personnel to transform the flushing device in the factory area, increased the flushing pressure, appropriately increased the flushing time, and reduced the occurrence of vehicles on the road with mud; on the other hand, he guided the factory to implement grid management, and arranged special personnel to wash the key dusty parts every day, which effectively reduced the dust pollution in the factory area and greatly improved the living environment of the surrounding residents.

"The help work should also be skillful, and the enterprise should cooperate with the rectification and upgrading, so the plan we give must be a win-win plan for environmental protection and development. "Three years of assistance in the factory has made Zhao Weidong deeply experienced.

In the process of iron and steel enterprises, the process with the largest emissions is concentrated in the pre-tapping process, especially the sintering process, but the long process operation is inseparable from sintering production, and the production capacity of the two sintering machines of Xingshan Iron and Steel has just met the needs of the blast furnace.

"In the assistance, we put forward the idea that the production of the sintering machine of the enterprise should be closely combined with the diffusion conditions, and the response of the enterprise has been obtained. Zhao Weidong explained that in the implementation, when the diffusion conditions are good, the two sintering machines of the enterprise are supported to produce and prepare materials at full capacity, and when the diffusion conditions are unfavorable in static weather, the two sintering machines will be shut down to reduce emissions. The flexible way to adjust the production rhythm, combined with the actual guidance of the sintering machine to start and stop accurately, not only meets the production needs of the enterprise but also minimizes the impact on the ambient air quality.

Transforming the experience in practice into work, Zhao Weidong compiled what he learned and felt in the factory into a more than 50-page courseware of "Process Flow and Inspection Points of Iron and Steel Enterprises", which became a model textbook for law enforcement inspection of Xingtai ecological environment system.
