The country's first hydrogen energy carbon emission reduction project landed in Beijing, with an estimated annual carbon emission reduction of 24,000 tons

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment held a press conference on Beijing's response to climate change. At the meeting, Ming Dengli, director of the Climate Change Division of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, introduced that Beijing released the country's first vehicle hydrogen energy fieldCarbon reductionmethodology, to encourage carbon reduction and pollution reduction in the transportation sector. Based on this methodology, relevant enterprises in Daxing District, Beijing took the lead in real-time monitoring with the help of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Smart Hydrogen Energy Big Data PlatformHydrogen fuel cell vehiclesoperation and accounting of carbon reduction results.

明登历说，这是全国首个具备落地资格的氢能领域Carbon reduction项目，预计每年Carbon reduction量达2.4万吨。经审定签发的减排量可作为碳排放抵销产品，参与北京碳市场交易，产生的收益返还车辆所属企业，形成良性循环。
