The battle to defend the blue sky has achieved new results
With PM_2.5 control as the main line, focusing on reducing heavily polluted weather and solving outstanding atmospheric environmental problems around the people, we will solidly carry out special actions such as air pollution prevention and control in the winter and spring of 2023-2024, ozone in summer, and pollution prevention and control of diesel trucks, implement 243 air pollution prevention and control projects, complete the performance grading of key industries and the compilation of emergency lists, carry out emergency drills for heavily polluted weather, and strengthen forecasting and early warning, overall scheduling, joint prevention and control, joint review and "online + offline" The average concentration of PM_2.5 throughout the year decreased by 1 microgram/cubic meter compared with the previous year, ranking among the top in the country, the proportion of heavily polluted days decreased by 70% year-on-year, and the emission reduction of volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides was completed three years ahead of schedule during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
New progress has been made in the ecological protection and management of the Yellow River (Ningxia section).

Rural environmental governance has stimulated new vitality
We will continue to carry out the safe use of polluted cultivated land and the remediation and treatment of heavy metal pollution, and solidly promote the prevention and control of heavy metal pollution sources such as cadmium in the soil of agricultural land, and the safe utilization rate of polluted cultivated land will reach 100%. Complete the target task of adding 20 new administrative villages and 7 black and odorous water bodies. The 2023 on-site observation and promotion meeting of rural domestic sewage treatment in the whole region will be held, and the selection of "The Most Beautiful Sewage Treatment Station" will be organized for the first time. Shizuishan City, Wuzhong City, Guyuan City and Zhongwei City have been built regional environmental emergency material sub-warehouses. Ecological civilization demonstration creates and expands new space
