The only eco-friendly enterprise! Shanghai Environment Group won the "Carbon Neutrality Performance Model Award" in the 2022 China Enterprise Carbon Neutrality Performance List

On April 22, coinciding with the 54th Earth Day, the first carbon neutrality performance list of Chinese enterprises, sponsored by China Business Network and the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and Development of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and co-sponsored by the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange and Energy Foundation China, was officially released. Wang Seran, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Environment Group, was invited to attend the award ceremony.

With the annual theme of "Green Energy Transition", the list focuses on "green" and "innovation". A total of 5 awards (1 comprehensive award and 4 special awards) were set up in this selection, and the scope was for enterprises across the country. Shanghai Environment Group stood out and won the comprehensive award "Carbon Neutrality Performance Model Award".

At the meeting, Mr. Wang, as an invited guest, attended the award ceremony, and held a roundtable discussion on the theme of "Green Energy and Digital Empowerment of Enterprises Zero-carbon Transformation", and accepted an on-site interview with CBN.

As the only environmental protection enterprise among the 29 companies on the list, and the only state-owned enterprise among the winners of the "Carbon Neutrality Performance Model Award", Shanghai Environment Group has always adhered to the original intention of green, and in the process of achieving "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", it has taken green, low-carbon and digitalization as the starting point to improve the level of operation and management, drive the ecological cohesion of the industrial chain, and strive to promote the high-quality development of the enterprise.
