On the evening of December 3, local time, at the China corner of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), a side event with the theme of "Synergy of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Reduction: Achieving a Win-Win Situation for Environment, Climate and Economic Benefits" was held.
Jia Feng, Deputy Director of the Ecological Planning and Construction Department of the Qingdao Sino-German Ecological Park Management Committee, introduced that Qingdao Sino-German Ecological Park is an international cooperation industrial park in Qingdao West Coast New Area, which draws on the advanced experience of German ecological park construction, introduces German PHI passive house technology and DGNB sustainable construction standards, formulates localized standards in combination with the characteristics of Qingdao's climate zone, promotes ultra-low energy consumption buildings on a large scale, builds a zero-carbon pilot area and a carbon-neutral lighthouse base, forms a low-carbon park construction model with industry-city integration, and explores a set of replicable and promotable Low Carbon Code".
The park has built a total of 8.35 million square meters of green buildings, of which 50% are above two-star level, and 1.13 million square meters of ultra-low energy buildings, reducing carbon emissions by 24,500 tons annually, leading the development of passive houses in Asia. The relevant practices and experiences have been promoted by the United Nations Climate Change Conference and the 12th International Conference on Green Building and Building Energy Efficiency, and won more than 20 national honors in the field of global sustainable cities and human settlements awards and domestic smart cities. The C40 Cities Climate Leadership Alliance has released the global "Green and Prosperous Communities" guidelines, and the Sino-German Ecopark has become the only selected case in the field of green buildings and green energy in China, and has been praised by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the German Ministry of Economy as "a lighthouse project in the ecological field of the Chinese and German governments, and a model of Sino-German bilateral cooperation parks".
In addition, the Sino-German Ecopark is also actively exploring the construction model of low-carbon parks with industry-city integration.
Draw a blueprint for green development. From the initial ecological base investigation, the establishment of the ecological index system, the green planning system and the green standard system, to the green and low-carbon construction practice and planning implementation evaluation, the Sino-German Ecopark has achieved higher quality green development. We will fully implement low-impact development and sponge city construction, retain the original ecological texture and environment to the greatest extent, restore geological disaster areas, and preserve biodiversity. Adhere to the compilation and implementation of the "ecological indicator system", and write the relevant content into the "Reference Guide for the Work of International Cooperation Ecological Parks" of the Ministry of Commerce, to guide the ecological transformation and development of development zones across the country.
Carry out green ecological practices. The Sino-German Ecopark fully protects and utilizes topography, existing resources and construction waste to maximize the utilization of resources. Actively introduce German PHI passive house technology, formulate localized standards based on the characteristics of Qingdao's climate zone, promote ultra-low energy consumption buildings on a large scale, build a total of 1.13 million square meters of ultra-low energy buildings, reduce carbon emissions by 24,500 tons per year, lead the development of passive house in Asia, and successfully hold the first and fourth Asian Passive House Conference. Actively build a world-class green building demonstration zone, 100% of new buildings implement green building standards, and all civil buildings are built in accordance with two-star and above standards. A total of 8.35 million square meters of green buildings have been constructed, of which 50% are above two-star level, and a large number of demonstration projects such as the German Enterprise Center and the Passive House Technology Center have obtained the three-star green building label, among which the German Enterprise Center has also obtained the German DGNB Platinum Award certification. Actively implement the national "double carbon" goal, and strive to build a zero-carbon pilot area of the Sino-German Ecopark.

Promote the development of green industries.Adhering to the concept of green development, the Sino-German Ecopark has formed a number of leading industrial systems such as intelligent manufacturing, gene technology, and integrated circuits, and strives to build a leading industrial system with prominent core industries, obvious high-end characteristics, reasonable layout and structure, and strong competitiveness. The investment in fixed assets has increased from zero to a total of 121.2 billion yuan, 10 Fortune 500 companies have invested in the construction of 24 projects in the park, more than 30 industry leading enterprises have settled down, more than 4,440 registered market entities, and the cumulative project investment has reached nearly 100 billion yuan, with an annual output value of 40 billion yuan.
Create a green and beautiful life.In the past 10 years, from 15 primitive villages to 780,000 square meters of resettlement area, nearly 10,000 people have "gone upstairs to the city" and choose jobs on the spot. Started the construction of the "big community, big property" management system, and built a livable, resilient and smart city with "intelligent means". The park has formed a complete education system of universities, vocational colleges, middle schools and primary schools, with more than 8,000 students. The park employs more than 20,000 people. Countless people have met the Spartan Warrior Race, the Japanese Cool Run, the National Nautical Model Championship, the German Omirer International Piano Open, the German Commodity Shopping Festival...
