As of January 3, 2024, the photovoltaic power generation pilot project in Shanshan Operation Area of Xinjiang Oil and Gas Transmission Branch of the Western Pipeline Co., Ltd. of the State Pipeline Network Group has been running for one year, generating 400,000 kWh, generating about 164,000 yuan in power generation income and reducing carbon emissions by 314 tons.
The Shanshan operation area is the hub center of crude oil in the western region, and its main responsibility is to store, blend and transport all kinds of crude oil in the western region. In order to save energy, reduce emissions and reduce carbon emissions, in 2022, Xinjiang Oil and Gas Transmission Branch decided to take the lead in launching a photovoltaic power generation pilot project in the Shanshan operation area.
Turpan City is rich in solar energy resources, and the Shanshan operation area relies on the existing site and advantageous conditions, and should be fully equipped with photovoltaic power generation panels. The total installed capacity of the photovoltaic power generation pilot project in Shanshan operation area is 316.8 kWh, the average annual utilization hours are 1400.34 hours, and the comprehensive system efficiency reaches more than 82% in the first year. The photovoltaic modules and string inverters of the project are distributed on the roofs of 8 buildings in the Shanshan operation area and Shanshan Maintenance Emergency Repair Center, and a total of 576 high-efficiency monocrystalline single-sided single-glass photovoltaic modules, 6 50 kW string inverters, and 1 6 kV American box transformer are installed.
The photovoltaic power generation project piloted in Shanshan operation area is the first new energy project of Xinjiang Oil and Gas Transmission Branch, exploring a new path for the company's green and low-carbon transformation.
