The Beijing Green Exchange carries out carbon emission reduction quantification and certification for Husheng Logistics

In order to help Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Ordos City achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, Bayin Mengke Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Bayin Mengke Group) launched a comprehensive carbon neutrality project, and on the morning of March 23 this year, Wang Huijun, deputy general manager of Beijing Green Exchange, issued a carbon emission reduction certification certificate to Lei Jianjun, general manager of Inner Mongolia Husheng Logistics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Husheng Logistics).

Under the guidance of the "dual carbon" goal, carbon emission reduction in the field of transportation, especially in the field of road transport and urban freight transportation, has become an important part of China's economy to achieve high-quality development and move towards a low-carbon society in all aspects. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council proposed to accelerate technological innovation in the new generation of information technology and new energy vehicles, continue to improve the energy efficiency of the transportation industry, and accelerate the development of green logistics.

In order to establish a green and low-carbon society and create a new situation of high-quality development, Husheng Logistics has implemented a green emission reduction operation project (hereinafter referred to as the project) under the guidance of Bayingmengke Group.

The project focuses on bulk coal logistics, focuses on the operation mode of "new energy vehicles + digital dry port + scattered to centralized", replaces the traditional coal loading and unloading transportation of fuel vehicles with new energy vehicles and large machinery hoisting as the main scenario, changes the transportation mode through trunk lines and loading and unloading decoupling, and innovatively establishes a low-carbon and efficient cross-regional transportation scenario. The project includes 660 battery-swapping heavy trucks, 20 hydrogen energy heavy trucks, Wanli New Energy Inland Port and Dadian Inland Port. At the same time, the project has implemented a smart logistics management system, which has created a demonstration effect in accelerating the development of "green logistics and smart logistics", promoting the standardization of coal logistics and improving logistics efficiency through digital management mode.

According to calculations, from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, a total of 2,320.10 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent will be reduced in the substitution scenario of new energy vehicles in Husheng Logistics, and 83.02 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent will be reduced in the large-scale machinery hoisting scenario in the inland port station, and a total of 2,403.12 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent will be reduced in the year.

In the next step, Bayingmuck Group and Husheng Logistics will take this certification ceremony as an opportunity to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Beijing Green Exchange, strengthen carbon emission accounting and carbon emission reduction scenario identification and quantification of the whole business sector, and strive to build a smart green logistics ecosystem, more effectively promote the high-quality development of regional economic transformation, and contribute more corporate strength to the realization of the "double carbon" goal in Dongsheng District, Ordos.
