Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu and Director of the National Bureau of Statistics Kang Yi attended the signing ceremony of the agreement and delivered speeches. Zhao Yingmin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Lin Tao, Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Statistics, signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides.

For a long time, the two sides have conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee, carried out good cooperation in carbon emission statistics and accounting, and achieved remarkable results. He said that the signing of the agreement between the two sides is an important measure to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the National Conference on Ecological Environmental Protection, and is of great significance to coordinate the statistical accounting of carbon emissions and accelerate the establishment of a unified and standardized statistical accounting system for carbon emissions.
