Since the implementation of the national dual carbon policy, Xinxing Cast Pipe Wu'an has closely focused on the company's dual carbon construction requirements and consolidated the carbon emission management infrastructure. Focusing on the promotion principle of "based on the present, tracking the long-term, step-by-step implementation, and leading the industry", we will vigorously implement energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Vigorously improve the utilization rate of energy. Since 2021, Wu'an has increased the intelligent and automated upgrading of equipment and facilities, and has successively implemented intelligent combustion upgrades for blast furnace hot blast furnaces, steel rolling heating furnaces, cast pipe annealing furnaces and other furnaces, further optimized the combustion control of furnaces and explored new models of furnaces. Taking the innovation of blast furnace hot blast furnace automatic furnace and furnace mode as an example, by strengthening the control of oxygen content, air-fuel ratio and flue gas temperature, and innovating the furnace mode of one burning, one sending and one smoulder, the unit consumption per ton of iron gas has increased from 612m in 20213/t down to 420m in 20233/t, the utilization rate of energy resources has been greatly improved. In addition, the utilization of waste heat resources has been increased, and the application of waste heat heating of slag flushing water has been expanded, and the transformation and upgrading of heating in villages and towns around coking ammonia waste heat and flue gas waste heat drying and sand drying of cast pipe annealing furnace have been implemented, and the gas consumption of each process has been greatly reduced. At the same time, Wu'an's self-power generation at this level has increased significantly, and as of November 2023, it has issued an additional 357 million kWh year-on-year, achieving an annual carbon reduction of 315,000 tons.
Promote the upgrading of electrical equipment such as frequency conversion, permanent magnet, and synchronous reluctance. Upgraded 8 sets of equipment above 500kW. At the same time, the lean operation of environmental protection equipment such as dust removal was optimized, and the high and low frequency self-switching of AN electrical equipment was realized, and the company's self-power generation ratio was completed by 78%, an increase of 18% year-on-year, achieving a historic breakthrough in the proportion of self-power generation at the same level in Wu'an. In 2023, the implementation of solar lighting renovation for street lighting will be completed, replacing about 560 solar photovoltaic street lights, saving 40,000 kWh of electricity annually, and achieving carbon reduction of about 23 tons per year, truly achieving a breakthrough in green energy.
Establish a scientific and rigorous carbon management system. It has established 20 carbon emission management system program documents and carbon emission management manuals, such as the "Carbon Emission Management System Implementation Plan", "Carbon Emission Management System Document" and "Carbon Emission Management System Management Review System". Through on-site surveying, the carbon emission data sources and carbon emission bases of each process are consolidated, and the quality of enterprise carbon data and carbon asset data is improved. The carbon emission intensity per ton of product increased from 1.9 tCO in 20202/t fell to 1.67tCO verified by the government in 20222/t, the total carbon emissions decreased by 8.1%. On this basis, Xinxing Pipe has accelerated the development of low-carbon cast pipe products and completed the handling of the Environmental Declaration (EPD) for cast pipe products, helping the company to low-carbon and internationalize its products. At the same time, it has steadily promoted the smelting of blast furnaces with a large proportion of pellets, the smelting of coke oven gas and hydrogen smelting, and the flue gas CO of white ash kilns2, blast furnace gas CO2The low-carbon carbon reduction project, including recycling, has worked hard from the three aspects of structural carbon reduction, management carbon reduction and technical carbon reduction, and strives to give full play to the industrial advantages of tempering co-production, implement the development concept of green and low-carbon cast pipes, comprehensively build a leading enterprise of China's cast pipe products, and help the country achieve the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" as soon as possible.
