In recent years, Guangxi has coordinated the use of low-carbon product certification, green product certification, forest certification and other quality certification means to serve Guangxi's carbon peak and carbon neutrality work, and helped promote 57 enterprises in the region to obtain 136 national low-carbon product certification certificates, and the number of low-carbon product certification enterprises and certificates has ranked first in the country for two consecutive years, and it is expected to achieve three consecutive championships in 2023.
Departments will work together to accelerate the promotion of green and low-carbon certification to help green and circular development. Guangxi introduced relevant work plans earlier in the country to jointly promote green and low-carbon products, and reward enterprises that have newly obtained green product certification every year. Actively promote the implementation of green and low-carbon certification in the building materials industry, lead the green transformation and upgrading of enterprises, and create a number of green factories and green supply chains with demonstration and driving effects.
Pilot first, to build a new pattern of green and low-carbon certification in the whole region. The Market Supervision Bureau of the Autonomous Region carried out the demonstration and creation of the "National Green Product Certification Leading Action" in the Tengxian Ceramic Industrial Park, and helped Tengxian County obtain 15 low-carbon products, 17 green products, 11 green building materials product certification certificates, as well as 3 national green factories and 3 autonomous region green factories. Helped Beihai City to obtain 2 green building materials product certifications, and became a "pilot city for national government procurement to support green building materials to promote building quality improvement".
It is understood that the 57 low-carbon product certification certified enterprises in the region originally belonged to the "two high" enterprises with high energy consumption and high emissions, including 33 general Portland cement enterprises, 2 flat glass enterprises, 10 aluminum alloy building profile enterprises, and 12 ceramic brick (plate) enterprises. The Autonomous Region Market Supervision Bureau has been forced to promote the transformation and upgrading, energy conservation and emission reduction of these enterprises through certification means, guiding enterprises to embark on the road of green and low-carbon transformation and development, and achieving a win-win situation of economic, ecological and social benefits.
Guangxi has also achieved remarkable results in carrying out green product certification. At present, a total of 90 enterprises in the region have obtained 146 green product certification certificates; 220 enterprises have obtained 249 forest certification certificates, ranking 8th in the country in terms of the number of certificates.
According to statistics, from 2017 to the end of 2022, the certified enterprises of green and low-carbon products in the region have implemented technological upgrading, energy conservation and emission reduction, and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 7.5468 million tons in five years.
