At the same time, the Nansha Development Zone actively develops new and renewable energy, strengthens the overall planning of energy supply, actively explores the regional energy supply management model, improves the ability to guarantee the supply of clean energy, vigorously develops the hydrogen energy industry, implements projects such as the green port "hydrogen energy" application demonstration project, and encourages enterprises to use the roofs, facades or ancillary idle land of buildings such as workshops, enterprise factories and storage buildings to build distributed photovoltaic power generation projects. In 2022, the total power generation of photovoltaic projects of 15 enterprises in the park will be 85.17 million kWh, 2.7 times that of 2021. With the continuous promotion of energy conservation and consumption reduction of enterprises, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit of industrial added value of Nansha Development Zone has dropped to only about 1/10 of the standard requirements of the National Ecological Industrial Demonstration Park.
