On the morning of May 20 this year, Nanzhang County held a construction promotion meeting for the Zhangjiaping Pumped Storage Power Station Project. This project, undertaken by Three Gorges Group and with a total investment of 12 billion yuan, is the largest investment project in the history of Nanzhang County and the first pumped storage power station in Xiangyang City.
It is understood that it is expected that the first unit of the project will be connected to the grid for power generation in 2027, and all units will be put into operation in 2028.
