Promote the development of the photovoltaic industry chain, introduce and build Jinke Energy's vertically integrated base project with a total investment of approximately 56 billion yuan, and the first phase of the project has been successfully put into operation. To build a hydrogen energy industry chain, the first phase of Shanxi Meijin Energy Co., Ltd.'s industrial high-purity hydrogen project with an annual output of 2000 Nm3/h has been put into operation, and the second phase of the 15,000 Nm3/h high-purity hydrogen project has been launched. It is expected to be put into operation in October this year. After completion, the production capacity will reach 17,000 tons/year. Breakthroughs have been achieved in key core energy technologies, conquering "graphene" and winning "capacitor carbon", and many scientific research technologies have reached the international advanced level.

Low-carbon living is not only a concept, but also an action. In recent years, Taiyuan City has taken the opportunity of energy-saving and carbon-reduction renovation of old communities to continue to carry out green building creation actions, comprehensively develop green buildings, vigorously develop prefabricated buildings, and promote green buildings to a new stage of high-quality development. From 2021 to 2023, the city has built a total of 13 prefabricated industrial bases and 4 demonstration projects, completing a total of 19.6 million square meters of energy-saving renovation of existing residential buildings, adding 8.04 million square meters of green buildings, and building 4.8216 million square meters of prefabricated buildings. Vigorously promote the construction of green transportation. The proportion of green vehicles in the city's buses has reached 100%, and 8292 taxis have been purely electric.
