With the gradual advancement of new industrialization, the traditional manufacturing industry is gradually upgrading to digitalization, intelligence and green. In the technology and equipment exhibition area, one of the hottest and hardcore areas of the annual CIIE, how do enterprises view the Chinese market under the upgrading of the manufacturing industry?

Occupying the two venues of No. 3 and 4.1, with a total area of nearly 70,000 square meters, there are 377 companies from 40 countries and regions, including 77 of the world's top 500 and industry leading enterprises. The entire exhibition area includes special areas such as digital industrial automation, integrated circuits, energy, low-carbon and environmental protection technologies, and artificial intelligence.

Since China clarified its "dual carbon" goal, "green and low-carbon" has become the focus of attention. Currently, more than 90% of China's CO2 emissions come from four major sectors: power, industry, transportation and buildings.

ABB, which has participated in the CIIE for six consecutive years, showcased innovative products and technologies in the fields of smart energy, smart manufacturing, smart transportation and smart city. Zhao Yongzhan, President of ABB Electric China, told Yicai that ABB Electric focused on five representative industries: energy, industry, data center, construction and transportation. In the past six years, the theme of ABB's participation in the CIIE is actually the same: "How to use ABB's digitalization, electrification and automation technologies to empower and support the industry, achieve energy efficiency improvement, further improve the industrial level, and then break through the boundaries of some industries, so that various industries can raise their performance to a new level and achieve sustainable development." ”

Zhao Yongzhan said that China is one of the largest markets for any company, and China is also the second largest market for ABB in the world. If you want to meet the market demand, the main and best way is to make investments and investments in this market. In his view, the CIIE is not only about imports or exports, but also about upstream and downstream customers, so this platform can show them the best technology. Especially as the needs of customers in the Chinese market become more focused, they are also charting a new course in response to the changing market.

Data show that in the first three quarters, China's high-tech manufacturing industry accounted for 15.3% of the added value of industries above designated size, and the equipment manufacturing industry accounted for 32.9%.

When it comes to the opportunities in China's new industrialization, Shi An, president of Rockwell Automation (China) Co., Ltd., which has appeared at the CIIE for three consecutive years, said in an exclusive interview with Yicai that the supply and demand of the industry are now in a state of imbalance, and the supply is far greater than the demand. In this context, industrial automation will also accelerate overcapacity and homogeneous competition to a certain extent. In his view, the new opportunities are the demand for scientific and technological innovation created after continuous cross-border crossing, which will be the blue ocean. "As long as you have a demand for the front-end of scientific and technological innovation, it will re-drive the development of the industrial chain. ”

He introduced that at present, Rockwell Automation is establishing the Caohejing Rockwell Automation Net-Zero Intelligent Manufacturing Joint Innovation Center with Caohejing Development Zone, hoping to open up the breakpoint from the front end of science and technology innovation to GDP. That is, after a new demand appears at the end of scientific and technological innovation, the manufacturing industry and the industrial chain will be brought up. "Who is going to survive here? It is to have the six elements of cost, quality, delivery, technology, service, and ESG (environmental, social and governance) at the same time. ”

Jin Zhuanglong, Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said in a recent interview that digitalization, intelligence and greening are the distinctive characteristics of new industrialization and an important direction for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Next, we will formulate digital transformation action plans for key industries and key areas, highlight the key variable of artificial intelligence, take intelligent manufacturing as the main direction of attack, and promote the all-round and in-depth empowerment of new industrialization by artificial intelligence; continue to build new information infrastructure such as 5G and gigabit optical networks in advance with digital infrastructure as the key foundation; build a number of 5G factories and digital transformation enterprise benchmarks with "intelligent transformation and digital transformation" as an important starting point, promote the classified and hierarchical development and utilization of industrial big data, and create a good ecology.

The direction of promotion includes the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the consolidation and upgrading of advantageous industries, the cultivation and expansion of emerging industries, the forward-looking layout of future industries, and the promotion of industrial cluster development.
