The "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Fighting the Battle of Pollution Prevention and Control in Depth" clearly pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen the comprehensive rectification of pollution in the "manganese triangle" in the Wuling Mountain area at the junction of Chongqing, Xiang, and Guizhou. He pointed out that manganese pollution control is a long-term and complex work, and it is necessary to deeply analyze the causes of manganese pollution, grasp the main contradictions, and achieve the maximum environmental benefits with the least engineering measures. It is necessary to strengthen the supervision of the ecological environment of the manganese slag reservoir, strengthen the regular maintenance of the slope and drainage ditch of the slag reservoir, and continue to do a good job in water quality monitoring.
