The Henan Service Center of the National Carbon Market was inaugurated

On September 23, the signing and awarding ceremony of Henan Environment and Energy Service Center and the opening ceremony of the first carbon trader training were held in Zhengzhou. Zhang Jie, Vice President of the Energy Investment Committee of the China Investment Association, Bin Hui, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange, Mei Xianbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Henan Normal University, Zhu Hongbing, Deputy General Manager of Henan Investment Group, and relevant leaders of Henan Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Zhengzhou Economic Development Zone Management Committee attended the meeting and delivered speeches. The ceremony was presided over by Bai Yang, general manager of the company.

As the only partner of the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange in the Henan region of the national carbon market, Henan Environment and Energy Service Center is a joint venture company established by CDE Environment in response to the national "dual carbon" strategy, mainly providing carbon trading, carbon consulting, carbon asset development, carbon training and carbon financial services for emission control enterprises, various enterprises and institutions and governments at all levels in the province. At the ceremony, Henan Environment and Energy Service Center signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange, and unveiled the Henan Branch of the National Carbon Market Capacity Building (Shanghai) Center and the Henan Service Center of the Carbon Trading Market.

Zhu Hongbing, Deputy General Manager of Henan Investment Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Urban Development Environment Committee, introduced the overview of Henan Environmental Energy Service Center in his speech, and asked Henan Environmental Energy Service Center to take an energetic attitude of "starting is a sprint, and the beginning is a decisive battle", deepen cooperation with Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange, comprehensively serve Henan's carbon peak and carbon neutrality work, and strive to become an important participant, builder and promoter of China's carbon market.

After the ceremony, the first carbon trader training organized by Henan Environment and Energy Service Center officially opened. Zhang Jie, vice president of the Energy Investment Committee of the China Investment Association, and Bin Hui, deputy general manager of the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange, will conduct a three-day training for 75 trainees from all over the province, and those who pass will successfully obtain the carbon emission trader certificate.
