The 2023 Building Materials Industry Conference was held in Beijing
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China drew a grand blueprint for building a modern socialist country in an all-round way and promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in an all-round way, clearly put forward the construction of a modern industrial system, and pointed out the way forward for the development of the building materials industry in the new era.
On November 30, the 2023 Building Materials Industry Conference hosted by the China Building Materials Federation was held in Beijing in eager anticipation inside and outside the industry. With the theme of "Green and Low-Carbon Technology Empowerment to Build a Modern Building Materials Industry System", the conference aims to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system in the building materials industry, and clarify the direction and inject new momentum into the future development of China's building materials industry.

Wang Hui, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development在讲话中表示，建材是建筑的物质基础，自古以来，建筑最讲究用“料”，建材与建筑的关系始终密不可分、相辅相成。要守好为社会提供高品质建筑产品的初心，以建材行业和住房城乡建设事业高质量发展的新篇章，为强国建设和民族复兴作出新的更大贡献。为此他提出三点意见：第一，促进建筑与建材行业更加紧密协作，以绿色低碳理念引领发展方式转型，一体推动建筑和建材行业绿色低碳发展，助力“双碳”目标实现；第二，加强优质建材推广应用，夯实“好房子”建设的物质基础，不断提高建筑质量和品质；第三，加强建筑应用与建材生产协调联动，瞄准重点方向，推动形成建材应用需求反馈与互促共进机制，促进建筑和建材行业同步高质量发展。

Chang Guowu, Director of the Department of Raw Materials Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology在致辞中表示，党的十八大以来，建材行业发展取得长足进步，当前正处于由大变强的重要关口，具体体现在规模优势得到新提升，结构调整取得新进展，创新能力迈上新台阶，绿色转型呈现新面貌。看到成绩的同时，也要清醒认识到建材行业短板问题依然较为突出。为加快实施建材行业稳增长工作方案，扩大需求、增强动能、守住底线，建材行业要重点抓好五方面任务：一是着力推动绿色化发展，二是着力推动数字化转型，三是着力优化调整产业结构，四是着力培育无机非金属新材料，五是着力提升非金属矿高效开发利用水平。

In order to promote the green, low-carbon, safe and high-quality development of the building materials industry, Huo Fupeng put forward three suggestions. The first is to serve the overall development of the country and continue to provide high-quality building materials products and services, the second is to improve the innovation ability and level, and strive to promote the development of the new material industry, and the third is to continuously improve the green and low-carbon level and make due contributions to carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the China Building Materials Federation的主旨报告紧扣行业大会主题。他指出，随着国际国内形势和市场需求的变化及绿色低碳发展等内外环境的演变，建材行业必须从更高层次、更加系统的层面提前做好统筹谋划，加快构建创新能力更强大、发展模式更绿色、产业结构更合理、产业布局更完整、技术装备更先进、生产效率更高效、质量品种更优化、生产服务体系更健全的建材行业现代化产业体系，引导全行业能够更充分、更安全、更及时地应对这一全局性的系统性大变革。
He said that accelerating the construction of a modern building materials industry system is an inevitable choice for the building materials industry to achieve high-quality development in an all-round way, an urgent need to strengthen the security of the industrial chain and supply chain, an initiative to respond to the transformation of supply and demand, and an important embodiment of planning the task of carbon neutrality in advance.
He pointed out that it is necessary to accelerate the construction of a modern building materials industry system led by scientific and technological innovation and green and low-carbon transformation. Focus on innovation and leadership, provide scientific and technological support for the construction of a modern building materials industry system, implement the "double carbon" strategy, cultivate green kinetic energy for the construction of a modern building materials industry system, adhere to comprehensive policies, lay a solid foundation for the construction of a modern building materials industry system, continue to open up to the outside world, and expand industrial space for the construction of a modern building materials industry system.
The conference released the 2024 Building Materials Industry Prosperity Index MPI, the 2023 Global Building Materials Listed Companies Comprehensive Strength Ranking, the first ESG development research report of China's building materials industry, and the best innovation results of the first building materials industry industrial design innovation activity.
