In the first three quarters of 2023, the synergistic index of pollution reduction and carbon reduction in Zhejiang Province was 97.21, and among the 11 districted cities, Hangzhou, Jiaxing, and Lishui ranked the top three.

There used to be a developed aquaculture industry here, and the environment was seriously polluted. Since 2013, the waters of the lake and the surrounding areas have been renovated, the dredging of the reservoir area was completed in 2015 and the construction began, and the urban wetland park with the "Ten Views of the Lake and Sea Pond" as the highlight was opened in October 2017. Zhejiang accounts for 1% of the country's land, 4% of the population, and 4% of carbon dioxide emissions, creating 6.4% of the country's GDP. Yiwu Lizu Village is a typical representative of "beautiful economy" serving "beautiful people's livelihood". Starting from the small incision of improving the rural living environment, Lizu Village has been stationed in various entrepreneurial entities, and rural tourism has flourished, and it has been rated as a national civilized village. Today, Lizu Village, with a permanent population of just over 500 people, has more than 200 young agricultural makers settled in, and 58 maker projects are scattered everywhere, with Internet celebrity check-in points everywhere, and the number of tourists has exceeded 300,000 since the beginning of this year.
