On May 28, the "Special Forum on the Application of New Products in Building Renewal and Science Innovation" sponsored by the China Building Energy Conservation Association and co-organized by the Green Building Investment Promotion Branch of the China Building Energy Conservation Association and the Engineering Transformation and Reinforcement Branch of the China Building Energy Conservation Association was held in Beijing. This forum attracted the attention of many guests. The upgrading and development of green and low-carbon building materials is the future development direction of building materials. It plays a key role in saving energy, alleviating resource shortages, protecting the environment, and improving quality of life. It develops, applies and promotes new green materials in the field of building materials. Materials have very important practical significance and social benefits.

The construction sector is one of the main areas of energy consumption and carbon emissions in my country. Accelerating the promotion of energy conservation and carbon reduction in the construction sector is of great significance to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality in all sectors of society and promoting high-quality social and economic development in our country. At the same time, promoting green development in the construction field is a systematic project related to social civilization, happiness in life, and well-being of people's livelihood. It requires great attention from the whole society, active participation from the whole industry, and collaborative innovation from all enterprises. It urgently needs green and low-carbon new technologies, new products, and new equipment. Form a synergy to drive technological innovation in intelligent construction and jointly create new achievements in building a beautiful China.

At the forum, experts and scholars from scientific research institutes, universities, and associations in the fields of engineering design, energy conservation and insulation, and building materials in the construction industry introduced cutting-edge technologies and latest achievements in my country's green building field from the two dimensions of material development and architectural design.
