　　The first National Eco Day main event was held in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province on the 15th. Zheng Zhajie said at the opening ceremony that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the National Development and Reform Commission has deeply implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, vigorously promoted the construction of ecological civilization, fully implemented the specific work of top-level design of ecological civilization, actively promoted green and low-carbon development, continued to promote industrial optimization and upgrading, accelerated the pace of green energy transformation, and promoted the improvement of ecological environment quality.

Zheng Zhajie said that the National Development and Reform Commission will resolutely implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, unswervingly promote high-quality development, comprehensively promote the construction of a beautiful China, and focus on accelerating the promotion of green, low-carbon and high-quality development, actively and steadily promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality, increasing the intensity of ecological environmental protection, strengthening policy support and scientific and technological support, and solidly carrying out the assessment of the construction of a beautiful China.
