According to the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation on January 8, recently, the Department of Ecological Environment Monitoring of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, together with the Earth Observation and Data Center of the China National Space Administration, organized a summary review meeting of the in-orbit test of the atmospheric environment monitoring satellite project in Beijing. The meeting listened to the "Summary Report on the On-orbit Test of the Atmospheric Environment Monitoring Satellite Project", and after discussion by the participating experts, it was unanimously agreed that the satellite was in good orbit, the functions of each subsystem were normal, and the satellite-ground integration index met the requirements of engineering development. Satellites have the ability to be applied to the core business of the industry and can be put into use. As the world's first active laser carbon dioxide detection satellite, the in-orbit test of the atmospheric environment monitoring satellite has been successfully completed, which can provide remote sensing data support for China to achieve the goal of precise prevention and control of air pollution and carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
