The "Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of a Beautiful China" issued not long ago proposes to promote the deep integration of industrial digitalization, intelligence and greening. Digital intelligence is a new engine for industrial development, and greening is a new channel for industrial development. It is of great significance to promote the deep integration of digital intelligence and greening.

Digital intelligence technology has amplification, superposition, aggregation and multiplication effects for the green development of the industry. By grasping the key of digital intelligence technology and establishing a scientific and technological support system for green development, it is expected to continuously extend the application width and breadth of digital intelligence technology in strategic emerging industries, high-tech industries, green environmental protection industries, and modern service industries. Opening up the channel between these industries and green technologies will also help accelerate the application of green technologies and green processes in all aspects of industrial development. According to the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, by 2030, data centers across the country will become the largest source of carbon emissions in China's economic system. Based on this, it is necessary to start in advance and actively respond, make full use of green technology to empower the development of digital and intelligent industries, build a "double carbon" supervision system for digital and intelligent industries, establish a sound recycling system for waste materials in digital and intelligent industries, and promote the green, sustainable and healthy development of digital and intelligent industries.

In recent years, China has increasingly supported the development of digital, intelligent and green integration. The previously issued Action Plan for Carbon Peaking Before 2030, the Action Plan for Green and Low-Carbon Development of the Information and Communication Industry (2022-2025), the 14th Five-Year Plan for National Informatization, and the 14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development have all made arrangements for promoting the coordinated transformation of industrial digitalization and greening. In November 2022, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) identified 10 regions, including Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province and Dalian in Liaoning Province, to carry out the first batch of comprehensive pilot projects for digital and green collaborative transformation and development. At the same time, many localities across the country have taken the lead in experimenting with local realities, actively explored new models of integrated development, and made positive progress.

To promote the deep integration and greening of digital intelligence, it is necessary to accelerate the organic convergence of the two in development strategies, a high degree of matching in development models, and close cooperation in planning schemes. At the same time, we should pay close attention to formulating special plans to promote the integrated development of digital, intelligent and green, clarify the guidelines, goals, tasks, policy measures and safeguard measures for integrated development, and promote the deepening and practical development of integrated development. In addition, the deep integration of digital intelligence and green involves many regions and industries, so it is necessary to enhance the awareness of integration, incorporate the integrated development of the two into the industry or regional development plan, gather all kinds of resources to the greatest extent, and jointly promote the breakthrough progress of integrated development.

Efforts should also be made to promote business integration. It is necessary to accelerate the deep integration of digital intelligence and green in all aspects and processes of production, operation, management, and service. Through the integrated application of digital intelligence technologies such as intelligent sensing, enterprises can track, analyze, and calculate carbon emissions in production and operation throughout the process, so as to optimize the allocation of production processes and pollution control elements more accurately, and more effectively achieve energy conservation and carbon reduction. In terms of product design, enterprises can use digital twin technology to simulate the sustainability, energy conservation and emission reduction of various design schemes in the production and use process, and promote product design with cross-border integration of data to maximize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact from the source. In terms of product production, through the use of digital intelligence technology to monitor all production processes in real time, it can respond quickly when abnormal or peak energy consumption is found, and improve equipment operation efficiency and energy resource utilization. In terms of operation and management, we will promote the penetration of digital and intelligent technology into intelligent warehousing, precise distribution, remote operation and maintenance of products, etc., so as to realize green and intelligent management services and continuously improve the management efficiency of enterprises.
