The first Russian gas cogeneration project in our province was completed in the new area

A few days ago, the reporter learned from Xuanyuan Group Jieneng Thermal Power Station Co., Ltd. that the civil engineering and installation of machinery, furnace and electricity for the provincial key project Harbin New Area gas cogeneration project have been completed. At present, the provincial power company is stepping up the construction of the output power system, and it is expected that the grid-connected power generation and heating will be realized in September next year. After it is put into operation, it can add 12 million square meters of heating capacity and reduce carbon emissions by 480,000 tons per year.

The reporter saw at the construction site of the gas cogeneration project in Harbin New Area that the nine main buildings of the Sino-Russian Energy Industrial Park, including the main plant, chemical water treatment workshop, maintenance workshop, comprehensive pump room and spare parts warehouse, have all been completed.

According to the relevant person in charge of the project site, the main plant is equipped with two 420 tons/hour high-temperature and high-pressure gas boilers and two 80 MW back-pressure steam turbine generator sets and supporting ancillary equipment required for heating production, of which the 420 tons/hour high-temperature and high-pressure gas boiler is as high as 39 meters, which is currently the largest heating gas boiler in China. At present, the production and commissioning of boilers and generator sets have been completed, and they can be put into production as long as the grid-connected commissioning of water and electricity is completed.

According to reports, the total investment of the gas cogeneration project in Harbin New Area is 2 billion yuan, with a land area of 104,300 square meters. Since the start of the first phase of the project on March 31, 2021, relevant provincial and municipal departments have carried out in-depth research to Jieneng Heating Company for many times, provided on-site guidance, tracking services, and precise policies for the project to help enterprises solve problems. The relevant departments of Harbin New Area fully support the planning and site selection, land acquisition and demolition, and policy formulation of the project, and provide tangible policy dividends for the project in terms of opening green channels, parallel approval, and acceptance of tolerance.
