In 2023, Baotou City took multiple measures to promote the pilot work of climate investment and financing, which was commended by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

Focusing on the "Reference Standards for the Warehousing of Pilot Local Climate Investment and Financing Projects" formulated by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, combined with the local characteristics of Baotou, the "Baotou Climate Investment and Financing Project Warehousing Standards", "Baotou Climate Investment and Financing Climate Project Warehousing Evaluation Measures", "Climate-Friendly Enterprise Evaluation Standards" and "Climate-Friendly Enterprise Evaluation Management Measures" have been completed.

Second, we should actively carry out cross-regional cooperation. He was invited to participate in the "Launching Ceremony of Building a National Green Development Demonstration Zone in Beijing Urban Sub-center - Building a National Green Exchange", "Pearl Bay International Climate Investment and Financing Conference" and "Taiyuan Energy Low-Carbon Development Forum", and co-founded the China Climate Investment and Financing Alliance with the Beijing Green Exchange and 7 pilot regions.

The third is to strengthen departmental coordination. The first Baotou Green Financial Product Design Competition was jointly held with the Baotou Central Branch of the People's Bank of China, and five awards were finally selected, including the Outstanding Contribution Product Award for Climate Investment and Financing and the Carbon Finance Innovation Product Award, through scoring four aspects such as the contribution of products to climate investment and financing and the innovation of carbon finance.

Fourth, actively promote environmental information disclosure. Released the first environmental information disclosure report of local corporate financial institutions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and invited experts to conduct systematic training on how to carry out environmental information disclosure systems for 70 financial institutions.
