The annual frozen soil period in Pingbei oil area is as long as half a year, and the heating furnace has become an indispensable equipment for crude oil exploitation. "In winter, it is windy in the mountains, and the fire nozzle is easy to go out; In summer, the air pressure is high, and it is necessary to debug it frequently. "Years of experience on duty on the platform have made Liu Zhengguo more aware of the difficulties of workers.
The production line is the best stage for innovation and efficiency, and solving production problems around the front line is the most important significance of the innovation studio. Liu Zhengguo remembers that in 2008, ten years after the development of the Pingbei oil area, many oil production management areas set up innovation studios. Because he usually "loves to tinker", he has also become one of them. "Some tools are not easy to use and are too delayed, so I use my spare time to change them myself." He recalls that the initial motivation for innovation was "wanting to be lazy."
As the pace of innovation grows, Liu Zhengguo gradually feels his limitations. "For example, large technical transformation projects often involve drawing, turning, fitters, electrical welding and other types of work, not including field tests. Within the management area, it is difficult to obtain sufficient protection for people, property and property. Liu Zhengguo said that although there have been a lot of technological reforms and new ones in recent years, more often than not, they can only stay on ideas.
In recent years, focusing on the reform and informatization construction of oil enterprises, the Pingbei Management Department has vigorously carried out mass innovation and efficiency creation activities, and continuously promoted the upgrading of the innovation studio. In 2021, Liu Zhengguo was awarded the "Jianghan Craftsman", and at the same time, the "Innovation Studio" named after him made his debut and was promoted to an oilfield-level innovation studio.
Let innovation burst out
As the "blue-collar" innovation leader of Pingbei Oilfield, Liu Zhengguo's biggest feeling is that in the past two years, both innovation and application and promotion have run out of "acceleration".
Walking into the newly expanded Liu Zhengguo Innovation Studio, from practical operation, job training to achievement display, all functions are readily available. "In the past, innovation involved processing, and it was very inconvenient to go to Yan'an or find construction units everywhere for help." Chen Shijun, a member of the studio, said that now that there is no need, the Pingbei Manager Department allocated special funds to start with software and hardware, and equipped the studio with various facilities such as 3D printers and simulated production equipment, which greatly improved work efficiency.
Not only that, the manager department also organized the "Craftsman Famous Teacher Line" activity, invited Zhang Yitie, the winner of the "China Skills Award", and Wu Jinong, a skill master in Hubei Province, to enter Pingbei to guide the innovation and efficiency work on the spot, and to carry out pairing and co-construction with their innovation studios, and organize innovation team members to go out to learn and exchange, so as to help them "jump out of Pingbei to see Pingbei" and expand a broader horizon.
What makes Liu Zhengguo even happier is that the management department has opened up a green channel to promote the transformation of technological transformation achievements. In 2022, the studio will complete 18 innovative research projects, and this year, 18 innovative research projects such as "A Simple Belt Guard Device for Pumping Units" and "Solving the Problem of Hot Water Circulating Pump Burning Motor" will be launched.

In the past two years, Pingbei Oil Zone has actively promoted the construction of oil production informatization, and many platforms have been unattended. Liu Zhengguo introduced.

Since the establishment of the studio, it has completed more than 160 innovation and efficiency achievements, won 4 national invention patents, 52 national utility model patents, and 12 provincial and ministerial achievements, with a cumulative effect of tens of millions of yuan, injecting vigor and vitality into the efficient development of tight oil in Pingbei.
