After the success of the pilot, Xinyujiang Lithium Branch also invested 400 million yuan to build a 100MWp integrated photovoltaic and storage power generation project, using 1873.62 acres of closed land of the original Jiang lithium tailings reservoir for ecological restoration and comprehensive development and utilization, and building a solar power generation base.

In addition, the Tangbian Branch of the State Power Investment Fenyi Power Plant also invested 202.5 million yuan to build a 50MWp photovoltaic power generation project, and used 692.62 acres of closed land for No. 1 and No. 2 ash storage of the Fenyi Power Plant for ecological restoration and comprehensive development and utilization, and built a solar power station.

At present, the installed capacity of 3 large-scale photovoltaic power plants and 3 sub-stations in Fenyi County has reached 220MWp, and the transmission grid is about 210 million kWh, which has alleviated the pressure on local industrial and agricultural electricity consumption.

"In the past, we always worried about the total pollutant control indicators of enterprises or projects, but now, the three photovoltaic power plants have won the total amount of pollutants for everyone, relieving the pressure on some of the total pollutants of enterprises. For decades, due to the influence of coal power generation, the fields in front of and behind the houses here were gray and smelling of coal, and butterflies and bees were once nowhere to be seen. Now that the ash warehouse is closed, a photovoltaic power station has been built, the ground is paved with grass and greenery, the surrounding area is open fenced, trees and grass are planted, the environment is beautified, butterflies are flying, and bees are back to build nests.

Photovoltaic power generation has improved the ecological environment, and the operation of photovoltaic power plants has also brought jobs - weeding, lawn mowing, module cleaning and other labor work, bringing a certain income to the local people. According to incomplete statistics, the three photovoltaic power plants pay more than 3 million yuan in labor fees every year, allowing some villagers to achieve employment at their doorsteps.

Talking about the prospect of photovoltaic power generation, Yin Shengping calculated an account for reporters: investing in a standardized photovoltaic power plant costs hundreds of millions of yuan, the service life is generally 30 years, and the normal return cycle is 8-9 years, and the next 21 years are basically net profits in addition to taxes, maintenance and labor costs;
