From November 5th to 10th, at the KFC restaurant at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Consumer Protection Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Shanghai Municipal Consumer Protection Commission) and KFC jointly proposed the "Catering Anti-Waste", aiming to get more people to join in the action against food waste and create a new concept of strict conservation and cherishing food in the whole society.

Exhibitors, professional visitors and college student volunteers who participated in the 6th CIIE enthusiastically joined in, and the signature board of the event initiative was filled with names in a short time, becoming a popular gathering point of the Expo.

The college student volunteers who actively participated in the signature campaign of the CIIE also have a unified name - "Little Leaf". Among them, Xiao Zhang said that at the Expo, he could see the latest and best products from various countries around the world, and had the opportunity to experience the cuisine of various countries. It is a very proud experience to be able to advocate anti-waste catering with so many people at the Expo.

It is understood that more than 100,000 consumers participated in the event, and they advocated "catering anti-waste" by scanning the code in KFC restaurants and leaving messages on the official account of the Shanghai Municipal Consumer Protection Committee. And this event is different from the previous one-way output of publicity, through the interaction and participation with consumers, the transformation from "I want to fight waste" to "I want to fight waste" has been realized.
