Grid-connected power generation of photovoltaic projects helps green and low-carbon development

On September 8, the 5.67MW rooftop photovoltaic project of Guoneng United Power Technology (Baoding) Co., Ltd., constructed by China Railway Construction Construction Technology Co., Ltd., completed power generation and commissioning, and was successfully integrated into the State Grid for electrification, realizing "surplus electricity on the grid" under the premise of meeting the "self-use" of the plant.

In the context of new energy to promote green transformation, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is a key region to implement the goals of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality". China Railway Construction Construction Technology Co., Ltd. anchors the goal of building a beautiful China and continues to make efforts in the utilization of clean energy. The project is located in Baoding City, Hebei Province, known as the "China Power Valley", and uses the idle resources on the roof of the factory to lay 8,527 solar photovoltaic panels with an installed capacity of 5,670KW, equivalent to the area of 7 football fields. In the 25-year economic cycle of the project, the cumulative power generation capacity is about 160 million kWh, which can meet the daily electricity needs of 3,000 households, and compared with the traditional coal-fired thermal power station, the project can save 46,000 tons of coal and reduce carbon emissions by 127,000 tons, which is equivalent to 2,000 acres of afforestation.
